    Asbestos cement roofs are still widespread throughout the UK. Trenova offer a full repair service for these type roofs, along with several over cladding systems.

    After the surveying any problem cement asbestos roofs, any problem areas will be identified, and repairs can be carried out. A waterproof elastomeric coating is then applied to fix any leaks along with a geotextile bandage for strength in order to extend the life of the repair and the cement asbestos roof. The waterproof elastomeric membrane we use for repairs and coating carries a CE or a BBA mark of approval. It can be used on felt, asphalt and concrete.  This is a much more cost effective method than full strip and renewal.

    We can fix GRP “Glass Re-enforced Plastic” roof sheets made to the same profile as the existing roof sheets and fastened to the existing roof purlins,

    Or we can fasten a spacer bar system to the roof, of which will enable an insulation blanket to be fitted before over sheeting with coated steel sheets.

    Remember if it doesn’t carry a CE or BBA mark of approval – there is a reason.
